"For many years I played for twenty minutes or so before the Friday night programs and the Shorts Festivals at the Utah Film & Video Center.  I didn’t play at all the shows, but more often than not, even though it was hard to get there, the bus ride was an hour and fifteen minute, each way.  I saw many art films plus an enormous amount of student pieces, some exceptionally good, some comically bad.  Many times these shows were the main motivation I had to get out of Clearfield.  Some of these art works are made with the Center’s leftover fliers.  I like doing elaborate borders on things.  In the spring of 2003 the Center paid me to create an image for the 22nd Annual Utah Short Film & Video Festival (click here for the poster/flier and trailer).  The following year they commissioned a series of pieces for their monthly 'Works from along the Wasatch Front' program's posters.  The Center also help me put on a fundraiser for one of my CDs.  It was a great.  It was a sad day for me when the UFVC closed its doors in 2006.  Even now when I walk by the Salt Lake Art Center I get funny feelings of nostalgia, and I want to walk in the north doors again." – Bob Moss
