"Some of my earliest Deseret Alphabet pieces were in clay.  In the 80's I mostly did pottery with Steve Kirkland.  Sometimes he would throw a pot for me to make into a head jug or Deseret jug.  Sometimes I would make things by hand.  Steve taught me to get them glazed and ready for fire, cone 10 stuff.   In the late 80’s I helped Steve move his kiln to Oregon.  Over the last couple of decades I’ve taken several trips up there and done a little pottery work, but by and large I’ve given it up.  These are a few things I had around last time we took pictures.  Most of my ceramics in storage in Clearfield and I haven’t had it photographed yet." – Bob Moss
